We all know that clean eating and exercise can help mold your shape into your best YOU.  But you can also boost your immunity through these good choices.  Plant based foods help create your best defense against disease caused by free radical damage (December 09'- Oxygen Magazine).  Certain veggies are more packed with antioxidants (they reduce inflammation) such as sweet potatoes, tomatoes and kale.

So it's just one more motivator to eat your vegetables...look good and stay healthy.

11/28 - Saturday Workout:

Recumbent bike- 30 minutes

11/28- Saturday Food Diary:

Breakfast-

Apple (67 cal)

Organic steel cut oatmeal (150 cal) 

1/4 cup blueberries(20 cal)

A.M. Snack-

protein shake (150 cal)

1 cup broccoli  (40 cal)

 Lunch-

 4 oz Salmon (160 cal)

Salad- 2 cups romaine, 1/8 cup black beans, 1 red pepper (120 cal)

P.M. Snack-

1/2 cup non fat vanilla yogurt (55  cal)

1/4 cup non fat cottage cheese (40 cal)

1 plum (60 cal)

Dinner-

4 oz pork loin ( 220 cal)

1/3 cup wild rice (190 cal)

1/2 cup cauliflower ( 25 cal)

TOTAL CALORIES- 1297
