Vacation- Day 4
We went to Disney World, Magic Kingdom today. I have memories in my head of being at DisneyLand with my siblings every year. This didn't quite live up to those memories. There were so many people. The lines were ridiculous. We ended up going on one ride, It's a Small World, The Tiki Room, and buying gifts for the kids. That was about as much togetherness with one million people I didn't know that I could take!
I will admit, with out my morning workouts, I would be feeling like a beached whale. I would never pick granola at home for breakfast. It is way too high in fat for what you get in Fiber, sugar and protein amounts, but it tastes good here. This is why I don’t eat at breakfast bars at home. I try not to put myself in vulnerable eating opportunities at home. I’m starting to feel the effect on my energy level on this trip from these unusual bad eating habits. I’m ready to pull the plug on the food explosion going on during this trip so I don’t begin to really feel horrible.
I did bring grapefruit, apples almonds, and dried fruit with me in my carry on for snacks. I’m all out so now I have to find a grocery.
I am noticing that the 2 glasses of wine I’ve been having at dinner gives me a headache about an hour after dinner. Funny how one’s body metabolizes nitrates and alcohol differently as you age and also because I don’t drink very much at home.
