Well, the results are offically in! Usually "rule of thumb" is that if you weigh yourself two days after you've indulged in food and/or drink that's will be your true weight from all of the excess. Sunday was my last meal out while I was on my "mini-vacation." After the drinks and three meals on my own I lost .5 pound. I truthfully was hoping for more because I did about four hours of hiking within 48 hours and who knows how much more walking just getting from place to place around town. I should look at positively but I really just thought I made healthy choices and got a LOT of exercise. But, as we all know (if you read my blogs!) my body sometimes gains after an enormous amount of exercise. Hopefully I still have a loss this week when I get weighed in. Last Thursday I lost .3 pounds. Not a huge decrease but at least it was something! My goal is to be on maintenance by August. What are your short-term and long-term goals regarding your health?
